September Sunset

It's been a busy day of sorts today - achieved a lot, but did look or feel like it. Anyhow, I managed to have a great walk with the dogs over the fields at the back of Aspenden before dinner and was rewarded with this magnificence sunset!

Just found out it's the Autumn Equinox - What a sunset to finish summer!

Show Bus 2014

We used our Friends of Duxford Imperial War Museum passes yesterday to go and have a look at Show Bus 2014. A massive display of Buses and coaches throughout the last century, all within the museum grounds.

From the latest coaches sporting WiFi and TV's to beautifully restored projects from the early 1900's there was plenty to see and actually go on. My wife being from London got all nostalgic when seeing all the old route masters!

These were my favourite Route Masters, especially the AK McMullens one as it's one of our local brewery's. As always with Duxford there is so much to see and so much going on in the skies - don't forget to look up!

Train Your Dragon

Woke up early due to the thunder and lightening so a family camping weekend was off the cards!

Family morning today with a trip to our local 'Childrens' Cinema....

Film of the day: How to train your Dragon 2. All I can say is that it was fantastic. Great story and really easy to follow on from the 1st one and the graphics were awesome....only made better by the fact that we went to the 3D showing. £3.50 each so superb value for money as well!

Playing with Fire

Found a great new setting on the camera tonight - I love photography and the digital age just seems to know no boundaries. Watched a YouTube video on shooting the moon and used the settings suggested on a candle shot instead. I was really pleased with the results! Looks best if you click on the picture to enlarge it!

I post all my pictures on Flickr.....Link HERE
